Jewellery Care Instructions
In general, our jewellery can be worn as you please without having to pay them to much attention or take them of when showering or doing manual labour. However, here are some tips that can be helpful so you can have your jewellery of years and years to come.

For your jewellery to stay fine and sparkling as long as possible there are some precautions that should be taken.

It can be helpful to avoid direct contact with water and chemical products (such as soap and perfume). Make-up, perfume and hairspray may fade the finish of your jewellery and cause discolour (see how to clean your jewelry). You should remove your jewellery when doing your household and try to avoid wearing your jewellery when in the swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna/steam room or while bathing or showering.
Keep your jewellery away from all sources of heat.

925 sterling silver is a softer metal. Chunky jewellery made of silver, are easily exposed to collisions with other surfaces which creates dents and small scratches. Over time, these will slide into each other and the surface of the ring will become "softer" and the cuts become less visible. Scratches and small dents are not considered a defect, but just a sign of normal wear and tear.
Silver might tarnish (oxidize) over time. To avoid this as much as possible, gently wipe your jewellery clean with a soft cloth or silver cloth after each wear to remove any dirt or oil. Silver polish can also be bought at any goldsmith.

To avoid scratching and rubbing, store each item individually in jewellery boxes. This also helps avoiding any exposure from direct sunlight which might cause the jewellery and stone to fade.

We recommend annual service at a goldsmith who can professionally clean the jewellery and check clasps, mounts, setting and soldering.
